Mason's One Year Photos

Hi Friends!!  I know that I have been absent for awhile, but I am working on getting better at that.  There has been a lot going on with my family and me, which will be talked about in a different post.  For now though, I want to share some of my most recent photo shoots, starting with my little buddy Mason.

I first met Mason and his family when he was 6 months old. If I can find those photos, I will post them on here.  Mason recently turned one, and we went to a local park to try and get some more birthday pictures of him.  I will admit, he was not feeling photos this day like he was 6 months ago.  However, I think we still got some cute ones of him.  Even if he didn't want to smile!

First Spring Photos

Ok, Ok, Ok... I know that it is not quite Spring yet.  However, down here in Albuquerque, NM it looks just like it.  It was nice enough last weekend to take my daughter out and get her Easter/Spring photos done.  Something that you will learn about me as a photographer is that my daughter is my guinea pig.  I use her to do all the things I want to try out.  Over the last 3 years, she has really started to enjoy it.  You will see a lot of her I am sure.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from last weekends session:

First Birthday Fun!!

My daughter has had three birthdays, and I never get to photograph them because I am always so busy making sure her birthday parties are perfect!  So you can imagine how excited I was to actually get to photograph the 1st birthday of my friends daughter, Harper.  I had the opportunity to just walk around and snap away.  It was even more of an honor to photograph her first birthday, because I have been photographing Harper since she was in her Momma's tummy.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from the birthday party.

The Mirabal Family

On January 1, 2013, I had the pleasure of photographing a family that has become a second family to me.  They were my first photo shoot of the year, so it only seems appropriate to have them be the first featured set of photos.  We had scheduled this photo session before Thanksgiving, knowing that all the sisters would be in town.  Over the Christmas holiday, there was a surprise engagement for one of the sisters!  It was nice to be able to get a few shots of the newly engaged couple as well.
